I love movies, I love that moment when I just
sit on the couch, turn on the TV, and enjoy a good film, drama, a comedy or
maybe an animation. So, 2019 brought so many good movies and Jojo Rabbit is one
of them, a movie directed by Taika Waititi, full of good comedy, well carried
drama and a good amount of satire. I can assure you, that you will have a good
time watching this movie.
Johannes “Jojo” Betzler (Roman Griffin Davis) is a
little boy from the Hitlerjugend, who lives alone with his mother. This kid
has been so a indoctrinate, that his imaginary friend is Hitler (Taika Waititi),
this simple but effective aspect, giving us some of the funniest moments of the
film, letting us to get inside the mind of Jojo. Jojo’s life is pretty normal
in the city, until he finds out his mother (Scarlett Johannsson) is hiding a Jewish
Girl (Thomasin McKenzie), making him question his beliefs. But those details,
are better when you watch it. So, grab your favourite snack and enjoy the ride.
I assure you that you will love every character of this beautiful movie. And remember, never is too late to make fun of
the Nazis.
